On Saturday we traveled to Brașov and introduced ourselves to the local youngsters and kids in the Central Park. Besides the ones we have invited through contacting local NGOs, there were also some spontaneously interested youngsters who joined us playing a treasure hunt. What a wonderful surprise! Equipped with eye patches for the participants we prepared competitions for two teams with different disciplines in concentration, logical thinking and dexterity. The teams were cheering each other on to hit colorful bottles with a sling shot or in contrast to that gave each other helpful tips in a math stick puzzle. The youngsters and kids really enjoyed it and made big eyes when they received a cake as a price at the end of the game. In addition to that the youngsters were inspired hearing about our purpose to revive villages in Bacău county with the ELF Festival and show the Romanian youth opportunities being part of non-formal education themselves.
