Experiental Learning Festival
ELF is our invitation to Experiential Education.
We believe that education is essential.
We believe that there are a lot of great things already happening in this direction and a lot still to be done.
During ELF, you will find experiential activities that are dedicated to explore education through its broadness, diversity, multiple facets and interdisciplinarity.
ELF is organised with the main support of the European Solidarity Corps programme (through ANPCDEFP), thanks to which our team of volunteers and coordinators are dedicating their time to make the ELF do its magic.
ELF is for everyone: from educators, pupils, students, parents, volunteers, institutions, organisations, to professionals and companies.
Come meet us up!

ELF is co-funded by the European Commission Programme ESC (European Solidarity Corps), local sponsors and local authorities that are getting involved in organising the activity.
The Festival site is becoming a playground for educators, artist, trainers coaches, social innovators to sharing their alternative methods within education, in classrooms, activities, extra curricular activities and reaching what is to be greater empowerment for young people, for parents, for educators, for employers.
The future lays within education, youth and us. All of us.
We are preparing all the facilities, camping site, food court (eco-bio and locally sourced), access to a variety of activities, meeting with international renowned trainers, speakers, artists and entrepreneurs.
The site will be organised in separate activity areas dedicated to our 5 sensors – Visual, Auditive, Kinaesthetic, Olfactive, Gustative and the 6th Intuitive (the abstract, spiritual) side.
During the ELF Festival, you will experience:
- Music and sound workshops
- Music Concerts, Dance and Networking
- Dance and Motion Workshops
- Sustainable Education and Entrepreneurship Workshops
- Therapy workshops: through art and/or yoga
- Theater, film workshops
- Workshops of mindfulness and education
And you know what?
In the last day of ELF, 1st of September you have FREE access to the PIE FESTIVAL that is organised in Harja: you will be tasting pies from all-over Romania in one place!
The mission we are assigned to is beyond the Festival and it firstly is to bring education to the main stage in our communities with innovation, volunteering, solidarity, cohesion, culture, participation and sustainability considered as tools for our societal growth and well-being at local, national, EU and Global levels.
To walk with our purpose, we are involving a team of 40 volunteers during 4 months, to help organising the festival and to set the stage for next year’s edition too.
The teams will be in charge of engaging and involving the local communities in a variety of activities that are introducing them to the ELF mission.
Friends of Children in Romania (FoRC, known as “Copiii in Sanul Familiei”) is a Romanian NGO founded in 1994 with the aim to support institutionalised children, bringing them together in a family environment to grow up with love and care, close to nature, receiving support from the organisation, even after the age of 18.
During the last 10 years, FoRC received donations, private and public funds, to organise activities with the main purpose to encourage the children to engage with the wider village community, by helping in the church, doing gardening activities, sports and eco-friendly based tasks, as well as participating in various events in the neighbouring urban areas.
We are encouraging companies, private individuals and public institution, who believe in education, solidarity, growth, sustainability to still get invovled in supporting us to create an awesome ELF!
We thank to our already confirmed national and international partners.
